Three weeks later, Nick, Brian, and AJ were going to Disney World with Aaron and his girlfriend, Hillary. "Are you sure you don't want to come?" Nick asked. "I'll be fine, I was planning on going over to Brian's and spending time with Amy and the baby, I'll be okay, go and have fun with your friends and brother, okay," I said. "I love you," Nick said kissing my forehead. "I love you, too," I said. He left. I went over to Brian's. I sat down beside Amy. "Hey, how's everything going?" I asked. "Brian and I are hardly getting any sleep, but it's worth it, she is so cute," Amy said. "How does Brian like being a father?" I asked. "He loves it, he sings to her, he gets up with her most of the time, and he even dances with her," Amy said. "She is adorable, she has Brian's eyes and your looks, did Brian already set an age of when she can start dating?" I asked. "He said she's not dating until she's thirty," Amy said. "And what do you think about that?" I asked. "I told him to ease up and let things happen when they do, he lowered it to twenty-one," Amy said. "He's just trying to be a good father," I said. "Well, he doesn't need to try, he already is," Amy said. The phone rang. "I'll get it," I said. I picked up the phone. "Littrell residence," I said. "May I speak to Mrs. Brian Littrell, please?" a woman asked. "Just a sec, here," I said handing the phone to Amy. I took the baby into my arms and held her. "Hello, yes, he's my husband, what, how is he? Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can get there, bye," Amy said. She got up and hung up the phone. "Amy," I said. "The guys were in a car accident, come on," Amy said. We got Gracie's bag and carseat and headed for the hospital. I ran in and went to the nurses station. "Can I help you?" the nurse asked. "I need to see my husband," I said. "And you are?" she asked. "Britney Carter, my husband is Nick Carter," I said. "He's in room 2453, down the hall there," she said. "Thank you," I said. I went to the room and saw Nick sitting on the bed with a neon green cast on his left arm and a bandage on his forehead. "Nick," I said. "Hey," Nick said. I gently hugged him. "I'm so glad you're allright," I said. "I'm fine, baby, but AJ is bad, he's in a coma, Brian broke his left arm and had a concussion but he'll be fine, Aaron and Hillary have bruises, they will be fine," Nick said. "What happened?" I asked. "AJ lost control of the car, he was talking and a drunk driver swerved into our lane and AJ swerved to avoid it and ended up in the ditch," Nick said. "I'll go check on AJ, okay," I said. "Baby, I need to see you, when the accident happened, I saw my life flash before my eyes and all I wanted was to see you, I don't want you to leave this room," Nick said. "Bri," Dr. Kelly said coming into the room. "Hi Dr. Kelly," I said. "You had a checkup yesterday, right," Dr. Kelly said. "Yeah," I said. "I have some test results here that you might like, you are four months pregnant," Dr. Kelly said. "Really, I wondered why I was getting fat," I said. "Congratulations, you two," Dr. Kelly said. "Thanks," Nick and I said. She left the room. Nick hugged me. "I can't believe it," Nick said. "Me either," I said. He kissed my neck. "I love you, baby," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. An hour later, we were in the waiting room, waiting for any news on AJ. Brian was out there with Amy and Gracie. Aaron and Hillary were sitting together. Kevin and Howie were talking. We told everyone the news when we came out and they all were happy for us. Dr. Thomas came out. We all stood up. "AJ just woke up and he will be fine, everything is fine," Dr. Thomas said. We went to see AJ and he was his usual self. Nick and I went home and went to bed holding each other.
