I sat there listening to the song and wondered what my life would be like after meeting the Backstreet Boys. I was going to meet them because my best friend, Amy, was engaged to Brian. I arrived in Orlando and drove to the address Amy gave me. I pulled in and got out of my rental car and got my bags and went to the door and rang the doorbell. The door opened and Nick stood there. "Hello, are you Bri?" Nick asked. "Yeah, and you are Nick," I said. "Yeah, let me get that for you, Amy and Brian are at the church making arrangements, they asked me to wait here for you so that you wouldn't be stuck outside," Nick said. "Cool, should I wait for them to show me to a room or should I just pick one?" I asked. "Wait for them, that way they know that the room is clean," Nick said. I plopped down on the couch. "So, how do like Amy?" I asked. "She's cool, became one of my best friends, how old are you?" Nick asked. "Same age as you, only you are seven days older than me," I said. "Cool, do you believe in love at first sight?" Nick asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked. "Because I love you, I hardly know you and I fell for you when I first saw you at the door," Nick said. "I fell for you when I first saw you on TV which was three years ago," I said. "Can I kiss you?" Nick asked. "Yes," I said. He leaned over and pressed his lips to mine. We kissed softly. He pulled back and we smiled and kissed again. We laid on the couch and kissed. We didn't hear the door open. We heard someone clear their throat. We pulled apart and looked at the door and saw Brian and Amy standing there with weird looks on their faces. "What's going on?" Brian asked. "She had something in her eye," Nick said. "Nice try, Frack, are you trying to bed her?" Brian asked. "No, Frick, I'm not okay, I'm not like that and you know it!" Nick said. "Just kidding, Frack, let me guess, you two talked and realized that you're in love," Brian said. "Yeah, that's right, is that a problem?" Nick asked. "Nope, it's great because we can double date!" Amy said. "My fiancee and her ideas, hi I'm Brian," Brian said. "I'm Bri," I said as me and Nick sat up. Amy and I went into the kitchen and talked about the wedding and what's been happening for the past three years. "Matt broke up with you because you were coming down here, is Nick the rebound?" Amy asked. "No, I have been in love with Nick for three years, you know that, I think that's the reason Matt broke up with me, because I was in love with someone else, someone I didn't know until now," I said. "Well, I think you and Nick belong together, he just broke up with Mandy and I know you won't hurt him," Amy said. "I know I won't, Nick's special, Matt wasn't," I said. "Hey girls, who's Matt?" Brian asked as he and Nick came into the kitchen. "He's Bri's ex, he broke up with her before she came down here, he didn't like the fact that Bri was in love with someone else," Amy said. "Who?" Nick asked. "You, Nick," Amy said. Nick wrapped his arms around me. Brian wrapped his arms around Amy and we all talked. The next day, Amy and I were at the bridal shop. I was trying on a dress. "How does this look?" the lady asked. I looked at Amy. She smiled. "It's perfect, you look great in it, Bri, Nick will drool when he sees you in that dress," Amy said. Amy paid for the dress and I got it and we walked out of the store. We walked through the mall. "I love Brian so much, Bri, I can't wait until he and I are married," Amy said. I looked at her and smiled. "What's the matter, Bri," Amy said. "I was just thinking about things, that's all," I said. "You were thinking about Nick, weren't you," Amy said. "Yeah," I said. "Bri, Brian told me last night before we went to bed that Nick is crazy about you, and you two only knew each other for a day," Amy said. "It was love at first sight," I said. We continued shopping and talked about the guys. We went back to Brian's house. Nick and Brian were sitting on the couch playing Nintendo. "Hi boys," Amy said. "Hey," they said not looking up. Amy and I looked at each other. "Brian, Nick, Bri and I are naked," Amy said. The guys looked up and the game was over as we heard. "Oh man!" they said throwing their controllers down. Amy and I laughed. I went upstairs to my room and hung my dress up. Nick came in. "What did you get?" Nick asked. "My maid of honor's dress, you'll see it at the wedding," I said. "I want to see it now," Nick said. "You will just have to wait like everyone else," I said wrapping my arms around his waist. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and we kissed deeply. We moved to the bed and laid down and kissed. Brian and Amy came in and cleared their throats. We sat up and they sat down and we talked. Two weeks later, it was two days before the wedding and there were problems between Brian and Amy. Amy was worried because he didn't come home the night before. We were talking. "Where could he be, I'm worried, I asked the guys, they don't know, I haven't Nick yet, and Nick would know because he's Brian's best friend, and Brian would tell him anything," Amy said. We went to Nick's house. I knocked on the door. Nick opened the door. Nick opened the door and smiled. "Hey girls," Nick said. We went in and Nick closed the door. We sat down. Nick sat down. "Nick, have you seen Brian?" Amy asked. "No, Amy, I haven't," Nick said. "He didn't come home last night," Amy said. "That's not like him, did you call his cell phone?" Nick asked. "It's at the house," Amy said. "Oh boy," Nick said. "I'm scared," Amy said. "It'll be okay, Amy," I siad. "He doesn't want me anymore," Amy said. I wrapped an arm around her and she cried on my shoulder. I looked at Nick and I knew he was thinking the same thing as me. Where was Brian? Five hours later, Nick and I were sitting on the couch of Brian and Amy's house. Amy went to lay down. Brian hadn't returned home yet. I sat there. "Where is Brian, why is he doing this," I said. "I don't know, but I want to hurt him," Nick said. "Wait in line," I said. "I know Brian loves Amy, I know he's crazy about her but why would he do this," Nick said. The door opened and Brian came in and saw us. Nick stood up. "Where in the hell have you been!" Nick yelled. "Out," Brian said. "Since yesterday, Brian, Amy is really upset, she was worried sick!" I said. "Where is she?" Brian asked. "Upstairs, laying down, she cried herself to sleep," I said. He headed for the stairs. "Brian," I said. He turned and looked at me. "What," Brian said. "You want to know why she cried herself to sleep," I said. "Why," Brian said. "She's afraid that you don't love her anymore and you don't want her anymore, that's why," I said. "I love Amy more than anything and I want her more than anything," Brian said. "Then go tell her that," I said. He went upstairs. Nick and I went to his house. We sat down and watched a movie. "Bri, I have a question," Nick said. "What," I said. "Would you ever leave me for someone else?" Nick asked. "Not in this lifetime, Nick, I'm in love with you," I said. He smiled and we kissed and cuddled up. The doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door and saw Brian and Amy standing there. "Hey you two, got everything worked out," I said as they came in. "Everything's fine, Brian was getting cold feet, we talked and the wedding is still on," Amy said. "Brian, you have nothing to worry about," I said. "I know that now, what are you and Nick doing?" Brian asked. "Watching Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock," I said. They sat down. I sat down with Nick and we cuddled. We all watched the movie. Two hours later, Brian and Amy went home. I got up and got my purse. "Where are you going?" Nick asked. "Home," I said. "Stay the night," Nick said. "You really want me to stay the night," I said smiling. "Yeah, I want to hold you in my arms all night, just sleep," Nick said. "I don't have any pajamas," I said. "I'll let you have a T-shirt and boxers," Nick said. "Okay," I said. We went upstairs. He gave me a T-shirt and a pair of boxers. I went into the bathroom and closed the door. I changed into the boxers and shirt and went out and saw Nick in a pair of boxers. "I always sleep in boxers," Nick said. "I'm so tired," I said. We got into bed. He pulled me close and held me close. I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. He kissed the top of my head. "I love you, Bri," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. We fell asleep holding each other. Two days later, it was Amy and Brian's wedding day. I was ready to go and helping Amy get ready. Brian's mother was in there with us. "I can't believe this day has finally come," Amy said. "I'm so happy that you are going to be a part of the family, Amy, I couldn't ask for anyone better than you for my son," Jackie said. "I love Brian so much, I can't imagine my life without him, I can't live without him," Amy said. Jackie and I smiled and we continued helping her get ready. There was a knock at the door. I opened it and saw Harold SR standing there. "It's time," he said. "Okay, she's almost ready," I said. I closed the door and we put the finishing touches on Amy's makeup and hair. She looked in the mirror. She smiled and we went out. I stood in front of her. Amanda and Kristen were in front of me. They looked at me and smiled. The doors opened and Amanda and Kristen walked down the aisle. Then I followed. I saw Nick standing beside Harold JR as he stood beside Brian. I smiled at Nick. He smiled and winked at me. I stood beside Kristen. The music started up and the doors opened and Amy and Harold SR walked down the aisle. They arrived at the altar. Brian and Amy faced the minister and the ceremony began. They exchanged vows and rings. They were pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. They walked up the aisle. At the reception, Nick and I stood together. We talked to Kevin and Howie. Nick was standing behind me with his arms wrapped around me. We talked about the wedding. An hour later, Amy and Brian left for their honeymoon. Nick and I went back to Brian and Amy's house. We cuddled up in front of the TV and watched a movie. I looked up at Nick. He looked at me and he leaned down and brushed his lips against mine. I pulled him down and kissed him deeply. We laid on the couch with me on top and we kissed. Soon, our clothes were flying off and we were making love. We laid there afterwards holding each other. "I love you, Bri, so much," Nick said kissing my forehead. "I love you, too," I said. We got our clothes and went up to my room and went to bed holding each other.
