Two months later, the guys were still in Sweden. I was sitting at home. I was five months along. The phone rang. "Hello," I said. "Hey sweetie, bad news, my parents hate me, they are coming out to talk to you," Nick said. "Oh," I said. "Babe, I love you, don't listen to them, okay," Nick said. "If they want me to give up the babies, it's out of the question, I want our babies," I said. "Me, too, I love you, sweetie," Nick said. "I love you, too, bye," I said. Five hours later, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw Jane and Bob Carter standing there. I let them in and closed the door. We sat down. "I know why are you are here, you want me to give up my babies, no way, I love my babies, they are staying with me, Nick and I are getting married and we are going to be a family here," I said. "Bri, we only want what's best for the babies," Jane said. "It's here with me and Nick, we want the babies, Nick wants to be a father, I want to be a mother, if you think I'm just using him because he's a Backstreet Boy and has money, think again, I love Nick with all my heart and soul and I can't live without him, he's my true love, my soulmate, I love him and I'm carrying proof that he loves me," I said putting my hand on my stomach. "Bri, we are sorry, we didn't know, we want to get to know you better," Jane said. The door opened and Nick came in. He sat down and Jane and Bob smiled. "Nick, we are happy about this, Bri is a very sweet girl and we can't wait until she's a part of the family," Jane said. "Bri, are you having boys, girls, or one of each," Bob asked. "I don't know yet, I want Nick there when I find out, but he'll be in Sweden," I said. "Bri, you know I'm working," Nick said. "I know, band first, then, me, I know how it is," I said. "Bri, you always come first," Nick said. "Then how come you don't show it," I said. "Bri, the guys and I are working on a new album," Nick said. "Maybe it should wait," I said. "Bri, it can't," Nick said. "I guess I'm not that important," I said. "Bri," Nick said. "Nick, I need you here with me, they are your babies, too, I need you here," I said. "Bri, I'll be home in three weeks and won't be leaving again until after the babies are born," Nick said. "Nick, I need you here now!" I said. "Bri, not now," Nick said. "I guess the band is more important than me!" I said. I went upstairs. Nick rested his head in his hands. He looked at his parents. Jane got up and went upstairs. She saw Bri standing at the window. "Bri," Jane said. "What am I doing, I don't want him to choose, I'm being selfish," I said. "Bri, you want him to be there for you, he'll be here for you in three weeks when the album is finished," Jane said. "I need to be alone to think, Jane," I said. "We'll be downstairs," Jane said. She left the room. I stared out the window and wondered, am I being selfish? I felt hands on my arms and I looked and saw a pair of worried blue eyes. "Nick, I'm sorry, I don't want you to choose, I just missed you so much and I guess it's the hormones kicking in," I said. "Baby, I love you, I want to be here with you more than anything in the world, but I have fans all over the world who are waiting for the new album," Nick said. "I'm sorry if I was being selfish, you are right, they are waiting and that includes me, go finish the album and come home to me," I said wrapping my arms around his waist. He wrapped his around my shoulders. "My mom is going to stay here and take care of you, she knows what it's like to have twins so she can give you pointers," Nick said. "You better get back before Kevin has a cow," I said. "I'll call you when I get there," Nick said. "You better," I said. We kissed deeply. Nick bent down to my stomach. "Bye babies, Daddy will be back soon," Nick said. He kissed my stomach and he hugged me and left. I went downstairs and he hugged his parents and came over to me. "I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed me one more time and went out the door. Bob hugged Jane and came over to me and hugged me. I smiled. He left. Jane and I sat down and talked. "Feel better now," Jane said. "Yeah, everything's fine, I guess it was the hormones talking," I said. "I bet, that's how I was when I was pregnant with Angel and Aaron, I was saying weird things," Jane said. Amy, Kristen, and Amanda came in and saw Jane. They sat down and we all talked. That night, Amy, Kristen, and Amanda went home. Jane was settled into a guest room. I was in mine and Nick's room. I was lying in bed staring out the window and I smiled. I put my hand on my stomach. "We are lucky, babies, to have your daddy, he loves us and we are going to be a family, your daddy and I will love you both forever," I said. I went to sleep smiling. The next morning, I woke up and got up and went to the bathroom and noticed blood. I panicked. "Jane!" I called. Jane came running in and saw the blood. She looked at me. She ran and called 911. I was crying.
